Parents and kids: How do you study at home?  Is there anything you do that really helps you get ready for a test?  Maybe your ideas will help your classmates!

Thanks in advance for your advice! - Miss Wert

  1.   Kevin and his mom Says:

To study for a test,we usually start studying right after school. We go over packets or lists of words. If we wait too long after school, it’s harder to concentrate and focus. A little after school snack never hurts!

  2.   Sam Says:

usaly after i’m done all of my homework i ask my parents to help me study.Igive my parents the list or the packet(usaly i just go over the packets myslf)And they ask me questions about the words or problems. If my parents and i hear or see the word they ask me how to spell it or a diffrent queston.

  3.   Mr. & Mrs. Cush Says:

Chris suggests that his classmates not save all of their studying for the last minute. Do a little bit of studying each day. Mr. & Mrs. Cush say to make studying fun! Chris likes to have us make a Jeopardy game when he’s studying for Science or Social Studies tests.

  4.   Sarah Says:

When I study with my dad my dad usally looks at the problem and then makes the same problem just with different numbers. Also like Chris said dont leave it for the last minute!

  5.   Angelia Says:

When ever I have a spelling test my mom always gives me a mini spelling test of the words on my list or sometimes she will just say the word and I will have to spell it.

  6.   Kevin Says:

At home I start studying for a spelling test by asking my mom what the word is.Then she tells me what the word is.If I get the word wrong,we just come back to it latter. If I get the word right, I just move on.That is how I studdy for a spelling test at home.

  7.   Lily Says:

When I have a spelling test my mom will give me a mini test on Thursday. I use a peice of paper like it’s a real test. It always helps. It’s also fun.

  8.   max Says:
